Sony India Launched it’s latest flagship Smartphone, The XPERIA XZ for a price of Rs.49,990 via Amazon and other retail stores across India.
The smartphone features a 5.2 inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Powered by a Snapdragon 820 Soc with 3 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal storage. The phone also has a IP65/IP68 rating and a fingerprint scanner.
Connectivity option of the XZ includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth® 4.2, NFC, A-GNSS (GPS + GLONASS). The Indian model has two variants a Single SIM variant with 32GB storage and a Hybrid SIM variant with 64 GB storage. The device also features USB type-C connectivity and a 2900mAh battery with quick charge and weights about 161g and 146 x 72 x 8.1 mm in dimensions.
The main attraction of the Xperia XZ is its three rear camera sensors. According to Sony, the CMOS sensor can track and predict movement of objects in frame, reducing the chances of blurred shots. The smartphone also packs a laser autofocus sensor which makes the camera better at locking focus on objects, especially in low-light conditions; and the RGBC-IR sensor aims to provide accurate colour reproduction. All this is backed by the 6-element f/2.0 Sony G lens, and a 23-megapixel Exmor RS sensor as well as Sony’s own ‘Bionz for mobile’ image processor. The 13-megapixel wide angle front camera packs an Exmor RS sensor.
